WeGrow's portfolio was 8.30cr on March 2021. WeGrow was able to maintain a standard growth rate this year. As a result, WeGrow has achieved a gross loan portfolio of INR 22.55 Cr till March 2022, with a year-on-year growth of 172 %. Although, due to the second wave of COVID19 pandemic, we could not disburse or hardly disbursed during the first four months of this Financial Year for restrictions imposed by the State Administration in the second wave of the COVID pandemic. Based on the situation, the management had decided to ‘go slow’ in loan disbursement during that period. But the situation has improved from August 2021 and our disbursement got momentum gradually. The overall business growth stands at 172 % as of March 31, 2022 as compared to that of March 31, 2021.

The Company is currently serving 9,228 borrowers across six districts in the states of West Bengal and Bihar with an increase of 154 % over the previous year. We have 10,756 member base as on March, 2022. With the motivation and determination to take it’s operation on a bigger scale, WeGrow is set for significant growth this year. We aim to increase our outreach to one more state this year and serve more than 30000 borrowers for this financial year.

Purpose of loans has assumed significant importance as per the RBI regulations that stipulates - aggregate amount of loans, given for income generation, should be not less than 50% of the total loans given by the MFIs. In case of WeGrow the aggregate loan for Income Generating Activities is 100% as on March 31, 2022.

WeGrow has an outstanding amount of 22.55 Cr. with a base of 9,228 borrowers and is continuously trying to serve more and more unserved / under-served women of the poorest section of the community with the continuous effort of a team of 57 committed and hardworking personnel.
